-baking soda
-baking powder
-milk
-water
-nuts
-craisins
-any other condiments of your choice.
My partner, Jessica Lam and I baked Banana Nut Pound cake with peanuts and craisins today. It was very fun and exciting! So we had to measure the right amount of milk/butter/sugar/bananas/flour/baking powder/baking soda/water/cinnamon.
We blended all the ingredients together, poured it into pans, preheated the oven to 450 degrees, and BAM! A chemical reaction occurs: FOOOOD<3http://www.dianaskitchen.com/page/recipes03/0814_banana_bread.htm">link to the RECIPE!!

SCIENCE: I was able to create delicious dessert by using an oven heated at 450 degrees!
baking powder+flour+butter+ baking soda blended together and placed in an oven creates bread and cake-y like food=]

4/29/2010 Thursday: My first high school field trip.

A person was walking his pitbull mix in the canyon! Isn't he afraid he might get lost?!?

This is Aria next to a Redwood Tree.

Yesterday, April 29 , 2010 Olson's chemistry classes went on a field trip to Mills Canyon. Mills Canyon is like a hidden adventure nobody has heard of. I , personally never thought it went to deep and long. I only remember coming here for a cross country practice, but never have I gotten the chance to observe all the plants and things the Canyon has to offer.

You may add nuts or chunks of banana to banana pound cake. Nuts enhance the flavor of the pound cake.
